Happy Friday!
I did this cartoon because I wanted a fresh outlook for today.
Somewhere across town is a gentleman, a little bit older than I am, most likely awake and on his first or 2nd cup of honey tea or peach Snapple, out into the backyard of his daughter and son-in-law‘s home, counting all the things that he has to do to complete a stick-built-storage-shed.
Thinking to himself; “If I just cut a couple safety corners here and there, things will go much quicker!”
Let me just go on record here and say at the start of your day… don’t do it! I know I speak for the son-in-law as well as the daughter when I say your safety is more important than the completed job. Your attendance at the next several holidays is more important than a completed project of risks. Yes, I know you have done these things all your life, but the law of averages is not in your favor.
Be slow, be thorough, and be safe …oh! And don’t forget to load your “gun” before you go hunting, please!
