Yesterday I tried to send off a cartoon to my sisters for Easter that just turned out to be a mess, some could see it, some couldn’t hear it, after messing around with the old file all day, I vowed that today would be better and I would Turn It Around. I started fresh, new(er) work, redone in IOS Procreate and this morning I got the theme; “What would Easter Sunday look in a little corner of Heaven.”
The original work, which is in the video, was done in the old “Bus Garage,” Water Color Book, the pages are thicker so that the ink for my fountain pen doesn’t bleed through, it’s a hard cover, so I can beat the snot out of it and it’s small enough to fit in a bag on the go.
I really do like making these drawings, they are therapeutic and after a trip to the store yesterday, I may take on a “Where’s Waldo” piece sometime.
