This last Sunday, I had the privilege of assisting a group of young ladies who are, Girl Scout Ambassadors, work to get their Comic/Cartooning Badges.
We talked about:
- Creating Main Characters
- Creating Side Kicks
- Creating Arch Villains and Evil Henchmen … sorry, Henchwomen
- Layout
- Composition
- Theme
- Resolving Conflict
- … and even managed to work on some speed drills
These young ladies were sharp, creative and well mannered. It was a joy to work with them and even more impressive was that a couple of these Young Adults had some questions afterwards.
Thank you to, Melissa Pedersen of McDonald Insurance Agency, for not only arranging this but also for getting this Old Artist away from his desk and out into the sun, if just for a little bit.
